Tank companion for BLood Parrot ?

So I have a 55 gallon tank and just lost one of my BLood parrot fish that I’ve have for 8 years.. I still have one left. I wanted to our some small fish in the tank but wasn’t sure would be compatible with him. Any ideas?

Might want to be careful with a small school, they could easily out compete your parrot for food.

If you are interested in compatable Tetras, I'd go with bigger varieties such as the Buenos Aires or Columbian Tetra.

You could possibly get another Blood Parrot Cichlids or you could put in African Cichlids.
You could also do:
Bala Shark
Certain Cichlids
