I have recently (about a month ago) removed DIY CO2 and stopped ferts on my main tank. It only has 1.5wpg, and has a decent bioload, so it technically shouldn't need it.

About the only thing that I've noticed that has changed (apart from plant growth slowing wonderfully ;) ) is that the tips of the leaves on both my hygro species (polysperma and a stricta sp) have started to curl/fold over. It's not really a tight curl, more just that the tips are sort of drooping.

What does this mean? Is it just because the growth is slower, or is there a deficiency?

Can you get a picture of the plant? Might be easier to tell what's going on with it that way.
