I have hair grass, jungle val and water spite. I have glass shrimp, guppies mono shrimp and snails that just found today.

Idk if you can tell I have Algae all over my hair grass. Any ideas.

How long did it take to grow like that on the grass?

You mean the hair grass? If you have strong enough lighting and the right substrate 1-2 weeks, I also throw in CO2 defuser

No idea I was away and my mom took over for 3 days so I guess three days.

Looks like diatom algae and with it growing on the hairgrass that quickly it sounds like the lights were left on for a bit too long.

I just changed it to 10 hours. Any suggestions to hours?

I would cut it to 8 until the algae stops growing on the plants. You should be able to remove it from the leaves by gently rubbing it off.
