Water lettuce

Hello,
Someone gave me water lettuce to put in my tank and told me it would multiply like crazy...its been a month now and i still have the same amount... What's wrong with that?
I have enough lights and also some CO2...

It does grow like crazy. It depends a lot on your setup though. If the fish are nibbling the roots then it doesn't do as well. Sometimes it takes time to spread also, especially if you start with small plants, but if it's happy it'll grow like mad.
