water lettuce help

I hear its more of a pond plant. I'm not sure you'd get much from having that in a tank and I'm sure youll need lights?
 
You can grow water lettuce in an aquarium but it needs some light. I think they will eventually die in an unlighted tank unless its getting some direct sunlight for awhile. All you can do is try it and see what happens.
 
I had a healthy plant in my tank for a month under two 48" plant bulbs.and eventually it turned to mush and died...

I would imagine it needs to be fairly good lighting. You should try duckweed, they do better.
