So my water sprite didn't seem to grow for about a month, then I switched tanks and put a couple seachem root tabs in and it started growing fairly well. Anyway, the problem is, old growth looks terrible. It's yellowish, and falling apart. But new growth looks nice and green. Why is this? Here's a picture

It happens. It's just the plant adjusting to the different tank. Old leaves tend to die while new growth happens to fill out the plant.

+1 Mebbid - it's a bunch plant and dies it's feeding in the water column. I've seen them root a bit in the substrate, so root tabs couldn't hurt but aren't vital. My wAter sprite never really adjusted, they really like certain types of water and not others. Let it adjust and see what happens

Alright awesome, thanks guys. I was worried it was going to melt on me or something
