Dear people,

A view months ago, I started a tank filled with plants. Unfortunately I had dispose of this tank, because of a leak. I bought a new one. And now we are a couple months further.

The size of the tank is 125x50x50(cm) --> 312 Liter
Light: 154Watt (2x T5 54W and 1x T8 34 W) (the T5 are dimmable)
Co2: Set from JBL
JBL extern filter

Fish:
10x epiplatys annulatus
10x Microrasboras Galaxy (Celestichthys margaritatus)
6x yellow top sword endlers (N type)
3x Pseudogastromyzon cheni
2x Loricaria parva
2x apistogramma cacatuoides orange

Some pictures from set-up till now
I painted my tank metalic blue

welcome to AA Dragon...........tank looks awesome.

Never heard of gluing cork to the bottom before(assuming it is glued)........interesting though.

Is there a reason for it besides looks?........it kinda looks like you are using it as retaining walls........but at the same time it looks like you have pretty much the same level of soil all the way around.

I'd like to see some closeups it ya got em.

Welcom to the forum!

How about a list of plants in the tank to go along with the list of fish?

Looks great and I look forward to future updates.

Cork is very lightweight, so I glued it. It seperates the forground plant (Hemianthus) with the other plants (so it won't mixed up).

Tanks for the compliments and here's a list with al the plants:
» Rotala Wallichii
» Ludwigia repens arcutta
» Didiplis diandra
» Heteranthera zosterfolia
» Myriophyllum propium
» Alternanthera reineckii
» Hottonia inflata
» Cyperus helferi
» Bacopa amplexicaulus
» Pogostemon helferi
» Red tiger lotus
» Rotala rotundifolia
» Lobelia cardinalis
» Aponogeton longiplumulosus
» Lysimachia nummularia 'aurea'
» Micranthemum umbrosum
» Eustralis stellata
» Ammannia grocilis
» Hydrocotyle leucophala
» Ludwigia inclinata verticala 'Cuba'
» Mayaca Fluviatilis
» Utricularia graminifolia
» Cryptocoryne wendii
» Tonina fluviatilis
» Hemianthus callitrichoides
» Hemianthus micranthemoides

Very nice arrangement as Rich has already said. Great work with mixing up the colors and I love the foreground mounds of green.

What are you dosing?

What background is that? I kinda like the high lights and shadows of it.

Fantastic tank! I really like the backgound too. What is the plant just left of the center, in the background? (The green one that looks like a bottle brush). I had a small piece of that once but lost it, and I see it a lot in Amano's tanks and it is so pretty.

Are you trying to breed the Microrasboras Galaxy, and if so are you having any success?
