what are these plants?

What are these and can they be "planted" to a piece of driftwood?? They came in my new plant package last week and were not labeled. It was all one bunched plant, but I separated the roots and planted them individually.

Looks like some kind of crypt to me. You can not attach them to driftwood.

Definately some kind of crypt, and as Rich said they need to be planted in the substrate.
