What to do with fluorite?

It loks like I am tearing down my planted tank this week. My quistion is on the substrate, fluorite. I may start a planted tank later, even in a few weeks, but in a diff tank. In the mean time, can I dry the substrate and save it? Or will I need to get new fluorite?

The Flourite will be perfectly fine if you tear down the tank and let the substrate dry out. It won't have any effect on the nutrients locked in the gravel. I did the same thing recently to one of my tanks.
