Question.. I have driftwood in my 27g hexagon.. It usually always keeps my PH at 7.0-7.2 around there.. However I have like 10 snails in my tank, 1 Mystery snail, 4 Horned Nerite, and 3 zebra/tiger and 1 leopard (spotted) nerite. I read up on their shells and found they prefer hard water/high PH to keep their shells healthy.. So I got a white looking rock I forgot what its called.. It isn't coral though.. I was told it will raise my PH slightly.. My PH is now 7.6 on the low test and 7.4 on the high test.. So PH has deff gone up and seems to be holding here.. All the snails have really nice shells and I can see the new growth on my nerites big time and they have no holes or anything...

Now my question is... for plants... would a PH of 7.0-7.2 be better for the plants... like I had before... or would the 7.4-7.6 be ok ?

The plants I have are.

1 very big beautiful Anubias Barteri (broad leaf)
3x Alternanthera reineckii (cardinalis)
1x Fairly good sized Water Spite
1x Extremely large amazon sword (bout 15 stems all around 18 inches tall)
1x Fairly large group of Red Neseae
3x Limnophila hippuroides
1x Red Tiger Lotus
1x Medium sized Wisteria (bout 8-9 inches tall)

The plants seem ok, no yellowing or anything like that
