there is a helpful chart that someone has made that u input your basic levels and it calculates for u... i forget who did it though. i am sure they will post eventually. i did it but was fairly confused still.

Keep testing for a couple weeks to understand what the plants need and watch for deficiencies. The key is to find a point that your tank is never running out of anything but you are only dosing about 25% over what the plants need. This keeps the plants and fish happy and keeps you happy by preventing algae.
