Which crypt?

Sorry, yet another from the surprise low light plant package. What crypt is this?

I'm no sword expert but how big (diameter) is the cholla wood next to it? It can be used for scale (for those who know swords, which is not me).

Looks pretty standard Amazon sword, Echinodorus spp. Probably E. bleheri, possibly E. amazonicus.

The cholla is 3" long, probably an inch or so in diameter.
 
I was moving the plant again tonight, isn't this a rhizome?

It looks more like a collection of roots. Rhizomes IMO look more like a tuber.

This is definitely a sword plant. The root system is actually called "rosette" with this plant. Plants like java fern and anubias have rhizomes (it's sort of an 'air-root', if you bury it the plant will die). Plant the amazon sword in the substrate, but make sure it's crown is visible for best growth.
