Hello!

This morning I woke up to find what almost looks like white fuzz on my Java Moss. I have never seen it before and I don't know what it is. So far, I don't see it on anything else and the plant seems unaffected at the moment. Is this a type of algae or something else? How can i get rid of it? I attempted to attach a picture below (Hopefully it works!). Thanks!

Not necessarily. If it is staghorn, BBA, or hair algae, snails may ignore it. I have pond, rams horn, and MTS in my planted tank and they do not eat these types of algae.
This looks like a type of fungus.

You could try spot treating it with hydrogen peroxide or Excel (or API CO2 Booster, Glutaraldehyde). Sometimes it depends on substances in the water. For instance, it is not uncommon for fungus to grow on new driftwood, even after it has been boiled. I believe the new driftwood is releasing nutrients (sugars?) conducive for fungal growth.
You could simply increase water changes and see if that resolves the issue.
