White stalks

Over the last few days I've noticed that the stalks on some of the plants are gone white. Can anyone tell me if this is normal?

Are you seeing any color abnormalities in the leaves?

Such as? They look pretty normal to me.

No, nothing like that at this point.

IMO, could be root growth. My stargrass did this.

Looks like those two stalks died off.

I've attached 3 more pictures. Hopefully this will help in determining what's going on with my plants. The only think I can think of is the Golden Mystery Snails are killing them?

Looks like they are not getting much light in those areas so so Photosynthesis may Have stopped in those areas. So no Chlorophyll means no green color.

I don't think light is the problem. Unless maybe the age of the bulbs mean they could be loosing their spectrum... I don't know how old the bulbs are.

Acording what type of bulb they are they could be losing the spectrum

I've noticed the stems/stocks/shoots are turning brown first. Almost all my plants are like this now on some part of their run.
