I've ordered plants online and it should be arriving by Wednesday.

But I've come to realization I won't have time to plant them until Saturday.

Is it okay if I let the plants float in the tank until Saturday?

Agreed- the plants will be fine if you just unpack them and let them float.

Thanks,

It turns out I toughened it up and planted them all. Then left for work with only 4 hours of sleep.

Just came back home.
