Aquarium Advice Regular
I am fascinated by rare, wild South American characins (although I do have an African species as well, Phenacogrammus aurantiacus) and have been slowly adding varieties to my tanks. My next project is this amazingly colored, nano species called : Tucanoichthys tucano.
For those interested, here is some information and picture of this special little charachin from Seriously Fish:
Tucanoichthys tucano — Seriously Fish
Being a nano-species, I have set up a 10 gallon tank-- getting it ready and cycling before adding the fish. Eventually, I hope to breed them. Following is a picture of the tank the Tocano's will go in. Ill update later when I actually get the fish.
