what is my fish

I was given these fish and not sure on what type they are,
i thought they might have been otocinclus catfish but they seem to swim around a lot instead of stuck to things. ( or is this normal? )

At first I thought juvenile iridescent or columbian shark, but honestly I do not really think that is quite it.
