Biorb Flow 30 litre

HI there from the UK! Bought the above and put in 1 x Guppy, 1 x Cardinal Tetra and 1 x Pintail Wag Platy. Are these the best fish to start off with?

There's not necessarily a 'best' fish to start with, all depends on what you feel you can maintain. Cardinal tetras are a schooling fish and if you're set on them I'd up their school to 5, and then wouldn't add anymore fish at all.

Do you know about nitrogen cycle? And do you have a test kit for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate?

I think that you are correct about the Cardinal Tetra needing a friend or two. Over the past few days he has been behaving rather oddly and hiding under a piece of drift wood. He doesn't even come out at feeding time!!! A very nervous fish...
