Diatoms

Hi,

I have a cool salt water tank(19c)its been up and running for well over six months, but i dont seem to be able to get rid of them.

I have done a lot of water changes, have aven put copods in to try and get rid of them but they just come back.

Has anyone have any better ideas.

do you have a picture? diatoms don't usually last more than two months, it could be something else. what are your nitrates and phosphates? are you using RO/DI water?
