How much did you pay for amano (Yamato) shrimps

I was thinking about getting some shrimp for my aquarium but was surprised to find at my LFS they are £2.50 each. Is this comparable to elsewhere? Does anyone know good uk mail-order shops for shrimps?

That is about what I paid in the US (after conversion). They are pricey little suckers... but they are hardy, and will live awhile (seem to have much longer life spans than most FW shrimp). They won't breed though in your tank (they need brackish water for that) so that is a down side.
