Hey Guys,
Anyone who was tagging along on my upgrade thread (in my sig) would know I was getting a new Scollymia Australis for $110 AUD. I picked it up this weekend and brought him home. Worth every cent. Plus while at the fantastic not-so-local LFS Mum (who loves her featherdusters (calls them Xmas trees)) saw a rock with 3 big ones and around 10 small ones on it for $45 AUD. So she bought it. :D

I'm being kicked off the computer so pics later!

Now you can tell her that you need a bigger tank. :)

Great additions. Post those pics so we can all see those wonderful dusters. Oh, and the Scollymia <g>.

Here they are!

At night with feeder tentacles. (This is it's first night so it's healthy!)

I know it's dark, I took it with the lights off. Only one I could get with the three big ones.

They're called "Christmas Tree" Dusters. I guess because they are so colorful.
Tell your Mom...Nice pick...

that is a bisma worm rock. it's actually a piece of live coral that the worms grow inside as it grows.

it's not supposed to be encrusting monti. you mostly find these worms living in porites.are you sure it's not porites?

Those xmas worms are huge. At least they look big in pic. The ones I have seen are half that size. Very nice.

That is big. I have never seen them that large. I found one as a hitch hiker on a spiney oyter. But it is very small. maybe a 1/4 inch at most. But still a blue xmas worm hitch hicker is cool. I think. What other colors are there? I see blue and white. Do you have any others?
