8 Ball & Pablo

These are my new fish. I converted my 20 gallon into a 29 gallon and decided to step up to brackish water. So, I acquired a 1.5" Figure 8 Puffer and a 2.5" Columbian Shark. Feeding time is an absolute joy.

To save space, I'm using the link from my site:

ENJOY!

Brackish has salt in it, but not like full SW. Think of places where rivers run into oceans so there is a mix.

8-Ball and Pablo are adorable! I love the little puffer faces... makes me want another tank. Hmmm....

Have fun with them and good luck!

Brackish waters are where the rivers meet the oceans. There's a constant mixing ocurring, so parameters flucuate. FW is 1.000 SG. Some will say 1.005 SG (Specific Gravity) is brackish others will say as much as 1.015 SG. I am aiming for 1.010. My saltwater tank is 1.025.

I don't think my puffer has spines, I haven't seen him puff yet. They are only supposed to do that when they are stressed or scared and as much as I feed their greedy arses... they can't be stressed.
