Very nice. Convicts are some of the better parents in the fish world, and having babies is always exciting so.. good luck

Nice, I got a male 2 weeks ago and a female last week
Had the male stalking the female nonstop, but they seem to be stalking each other now after separating the male for a day

I still can't find a flower pot tho

Hi A bit of a dilema here i have two female convicts 3 inches in size and one male convict 3 inches in size. Will the male pair up with one of the females or should I remove 1 female so the male has to take the one thats left ?

thanks

I'm not an expert but I have looked into cichlid breeding and I think he'll choose a mate, when he has chosen one you should remove the other.

he should choose a mate just like any other cichlid. After he does so remove the others as said before by someone else. I gave my krib male three options and just removed two females from the tank today. Convicts should present the same sort of traits.
