Arrived today

Check this guy out. Mexican dwarf crayfish. Arrived today after a week in transit. I thought for sure I was looking at a doa thanks to Canada post. He was happy and energetic and got to work immediately on a blanched pea. So far so good.

That's awesome. I remember I got mine pretty late with the mail too. Cool little guys, could never get mine to live for than 6 months though. Tried 4 times haha. Where did you get yours?

I ordered it from a store called shrimp fever. I think they're in Guelph, Ontario. They have a nice selection and obviously know how to ship live animals.
Sucks about your 4 attempts. Now I'm gonna read up on em even more.

Make sure you have hard water, and enough calcium in it. Softer water will result in them having a more difficult molt and could lead to their early death.
