He is fresh water . He is in a 125 with 3 discus.

Fw rays are cool. Does it have the same water requirements as discus. Do you have sand for it? Does it need sand? I had one for a year. But it died. Good luck.

Yes there is special sand for rays so you don't scratch them up. The discus aren't wild caught so they don't need low 6 ph. Temp isn't much different and they both eat live worms so it's a decent match I think.

O yes he can sting you for sure but you would have to try to get stung . His barb is very small. He was $60 because he us still fairly small.
