Congo Tetras - Phenacogrammus interruptus

I tried to get these with no flash and only the aquarium fluorescents (2 X 10watt) as a light source. Didn't come out too badly! These are one of my all-time absolute favorite tetras!!

Well I had to put SOMETHING in the grow-out tank with my little Polypterus babies!!! In fact...I added a couple of juvenile Synodontis eupterus today. I'm going to have a heck of a selection for my 72 gallon tank when it is ready!! Pics of those when they decide to come out of their hidey-holes!!

Nice looking Synodontis eupterus! How big will it get? How large will the congo tetras grow?

S. eupterus gets to about 6 1/2 inches....the Congo Tetras will get to about 3 1/2 inches.
