converting salt to fresh

I recently purchased a 55 gal aquarium from a lady around town. She had it set up for saltwater. I am converting it to freshwater. She had some live rock in it. I was wondering what if anything I could do to be able to use the rocks in the freshwater tank? Thanks in advance.

Others on AA can advise you better, but you could just use the live rocks in freshwater.

But I think these rocks raises the pH a little.

I would not used the live rock in fresh water unless you're planning on african cichlids because it will work to raise the pH of your water. If you aren't interested in setting up a freshwater tank in the future, the rock can be listed on craigslist for around $1 per pound.
