After 4 months of use for the 29G tank I figured it was time for a few scavengers. 3 new ones, only 2 pictured here. They're still quite small, but I understand they will get up to 3" or so. Lively little buggers. I know some are concerned about gravel and barbels and such, but this gravel's fairly round-edged. My other tank has the black sand in it, but is too new for them to have any 'natural' food to pick up. Suggestions welcome.

err, natural as in stuff they find on the bottom without me putting it there directly; the bits and pieces of old food and whatever else is in the tank. Maybe natural's not the right word.

I did get some shrimp pellets, which the other fish were curious about but not enough to scarf them all up, so these guys should be OK.

As for frozen food, I have not tried that yet. Freeze-dried yes, frozen no. I suppose that's next.
