Hi guys,
probably i'm posting in the wrong place (admin feel free to move), but recently I bought 6 Amano Shrimps for my tank, but 1 of them had claws (see attached photo) and the guy at the shop said it was the male so I took his word for it.

A few weeks later my females started carrying eggs :p...hurray!!! so i began researching a bit more into the breeding habits of the amano and to my amazement i found out that the male amano is smaller than the female and has NO claws , but i must say that I do have two small amano shrimps in the lot so no issues there.

Only problem now is that I feel sorry for "Pinchy" all alone.
Thanks in advance for any help in IDing this lonely heart;)
