MORE new babies! Polypterus delhezi

YAY!!!!! My lfs finally got in the Polypterus delhezi that I've been bugging them about for a couple of months! This is my favorite of the Polypterus species and I really, really, really, really, really, really wanted some! Can you tell I'm a happy camper?? They're babies...only about 1 1/2 inches long and have just barely lost their external gills.

Here they are being acclimated in the bag from the lfs. Better pictures to come in the very near future!

Here's one of them out exploring the tank. Notice the external gills that aren't quite completely lost yet. Makes them look even more like an amphibian than a fish!!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! A guy at the LFS tried talking me into one of these fish, but I told him it was not attractive enough to go into my tank. Then I got to looking at my BW tank--bb gobies and flounder
