I did the big no no and did not do my research before i bought a fish. I forgot to ask if the fish was reef safe or not, from what i have read they do not seem real safe. All i have are two different types of star polyps, what do you guys think will he be ok in there or not and if anybody has had one in a reef what are good corals and things to put with a coral beauty?

I've heard that some will nip and others won't - " reef safe with caution". Maybe you will get lucky.

I have one in my reef and it's been very well behaved for the last three years. But yeah, it depends on the fish. My reef had mostly soft corals. Various types of zoo polyps, star polyps, xenya, shrooms, leathers. But also some lps and sps and anemones. Just keep an eye on it.

I've had one for about six months or more now and haven't had a single problem. He picks at rocks but certainly not corals.
