New sailfin tang.

After my yellow tang died do to the hurricane I wanted to get another one, so I got the coolest looking juvenile sailfin. He isn't very smart, but he seems to be ok, after a 2 hour drip acclimation I added him to the tank. The clownfish don't bother with him, but he seems to have problems with his sail and the current in the tank, it is quite funny to watch.

Will he change coloration/pattern as he grows?

Theres two types of true sailfin tangs

Zebrasoma veliferum - Sailfin
Zebrasoma desjardini - Red Sea Sailfin

They do not dramatically change colouration/pattern like some large angels do, but you will see minimal change as they get larger. Depending on their mood and lighting they also tend to look paler or darker.

HTH
