New tank, new fish, new setup...Lots of pics!
This was a "Craigslist Special".....my wife and I were extremely fortunate to luck up on this one. The setup consisted of a 58G Oceanic tank w/overflow, matching stand, glass top, Eheim 2217 filter in "like new" condition (including media), 110W (2x55W) PC lighting, 5gal bucket of Flourite, and a brand new Carbo Plus CO2 unit.
Total cost: $60.00!!! 8O
Yes, you read that right....60 bucks for that entire setup. To make it even sweeter, I sold the Carbo Plus on eBay for $60....so this whole setup basically cost us nothing! The Flourite went to our own Jchillin....somebody had to help him get rid of the blue stuff. :P
The tank set up on a DIY stand. I added a Eheim 2213 from the 29G Demasoni tank, which was taken down to make room for this tank. We decided to go with a nice, peaceful (for Mbuna) Saulosi species tank. The goal was to get some more color in the tank, but to only house one species for breeding purposes. So, out went the Demasoni and in came the Saulosi. I was able to get a good deal on a group of 24 juvies. None of the males have shown any real color change, but there are one or two showing some blue/back on the fins. It'll be a while before we know exactly how many males/females we have.
The substrate is plain old natural sand from Home Depot (~$3.00 for 50lbs) while the rockwork is a bunch of 'wild caught' rocks that I have been accumulating over the past 6 months or so. It was nice to finally be able to put them to use. Buckets of rocks do not go over too well.
Here are some pics...

Sweet deal, the lights alone are worth more then that
I can only assume that the person that sold it wasn't the same who bought it. (i.e. divorce/death)

It was the orginal owner. She said she got tired of taking care of such a large tank and wanted to downsize. I think she may have forgotten to downsize her fish while she was at it. She had 2 decent size Geophagus sp. in a 20 gallon long.

I knew I heard you right when you said you were doing a Salousi tank but I had no idea that you were gonna start with so many, and cute ones at that.
Some of us are just plain lucky...a free tank. Wow.

Trust me...it was pure luck! Nobody finds deals like this. Well, almost nobody.
Jchillin - I think I might have already had those fish when I drove over to meet you. I'm pretty sure they we in a holding tank. They're small right now (most are ~1 inch) so keeping that many should not be a problem for a while. The 2217 and 2213 will definitely keep the water clean.

What a difference a month makes...
This pic was taken at the beginnng of the thread:
Here is the same fish....one month later:
Still a lot of yellow and not much blue/black yet, but he is well on his way to becoming a man. I give him another month or two before the transition is complete.
This male has even more coloring (intensified by the presence of the ladies of course):
