He's a black skirt tetra. Wow, he's got some torn up fins. Poor guy :nono:

1 & 2 - Either Honey or Sunset Gourami

3 - Opalline Gourami

4 - Barb or Tetra of some type.

Hard to tell the genders.

Also - "Paul" is more formally known as an "Orange Mexican Dwarf Crayfish" (CPO) - and they are very valuable and friendly with most fish.

Gold gourami
Opaline gourami
Cray of some sort
Black skirt (or widow) tetra
Pleco - need a clearer picture.
Can't tell the sexes of the gouramis. The male will have pointed dorsal and female will have rounded.

Agreed. Poor thing! So sad...she is a long fin variety of the black skirt tetra. Great fish if in a shoal of 8. 6 is reccomended low #, but I found 8 is best. Especially when white skirt tetras are in the mix (same fish, different color)

Gold Gouramis and Opalines are color morphs of the same species Trichopodus trichopterus ( 3 spot Gourami ).

Once they feel better, watch out, they may fight. Gouramis can be very territorial.

That cry is not a dwarf! Way to big! I have had CPOs and he is huge! He can and will kill any fish he can catch!

nice guys thankyou so much can the tetra recover ?

IME black skirts are very tough. I rescued a school that had TERRIBLE fin rot a few years ago. All survived and I still have them.

However, they are a very nippy type of tetra and it is likely he and the Gouramis have had a few battles.
