Sapphire rams

Got a young group at an auction today. Here's a few pics, they're still settling in so new pics will come later

No, new color form. They have a lot more blue than germans, but not so much that they lose the other colors like electric blues. I saw these at the store a few weeks ago and was drooling, which is odd since it's not a wild form. Here's the biggest male, there will be a nice blue sheen over the whole body once thehy settle in and the best part, they like the cobalt flake you sent.

I'm trying to get a full profile shot of the big guy but he's not so cooperative right now

They look more like a electric blue/ german blue cross

The big guy is about 1 1/2".Their color is just like a German with blue overtones, it doesn't show well on camera yet because they aren't fully settled, but there is some orange on the nose.

If you google german blue ram x electric blue ram there is a video that shows them well. For some reason I can't link it.

By the way, you know how I'm always telling people not to use the spangling around the lateral spot trick for sexing? Here's 2 of my females

Soooo, I don't believe any of these guys know the meaning of monogamy, they are all still swimming together in a group and the females are getting ripe and very pink.

Wait until the girls pick their prom date! Best display I've ever seen, limited experience aside. I've seen my 2 fem apistos go at it and it's a quick rush and one backs down. My rams never backed down, it was awesome.
