Some new Corals!!!! My 1st!!!!

I picked up some Metallic Green Star Polyps and some Bullseye Mushrooms on Friday. The GSP opened up about an hour after I put them in the tank and seem to be doing well ... the BE shrooms were all on one big rock which I split into several pieces. This is a shot of them both!

In the shot of the GSP, do you see that white/purple thing in the background sticking up out of the GSP? What is that?

As the coral grows if it runs out of/has limited growing space, they begin to grow upward instead of outward. This moreso common with Briarium sp. but GPS's will do it occassionally as well.
