Stocking 10 gal.

Hey there! I have a 10 gallon aquarium waiting to be set up. I haven't gotten any forward motion because I want the habitat to be comfortable to whatever fish are out into it. My problem is, I cannot decide what to stock it with. Any ideas would be awesome! It's a 10 gal. Fresh water. Thanks!

Do you have substrate picked out /purchased yet???

10G is a "smaller" tank and choosing fish will need to be done considering this.

What kind of filter does it have?

Have you ever kept fish before and do you know about the nitrification cycle. If not, check out the comprehensive article in my signature!

There are lots of nano fish which would be well suited to a smaller tank. As well as some kinds of Killifish and Dwarf shrimp.

Are you wanting to have plants, driftwood???

Do you know your tap water pH, GH, kH?

Celestial Pearl Danios (6-9) are an awesome fish for a 10g and loves plants.

Or perhaps 2 pea puffs...
