the new tank

this is where ive been spending alot of my time the past week


FORT, plants are doing fantastic, got one melted leaf on the crypt today from the move from tank to tank.


2" flourite, 1-3" of sand depending where you look in the tank.

55 gallon, aqua-tech( retrofit biowheel parts are in transit) 30-60 and another 45g filter on it. Lights, I got a 40w trichromatic w/ full reflective strip and a 27w 6500 power compact.

Fish List

3 angels
3 kuhlis( maybe 2 one had a seizure yesterday and hasnt been seen since)
6 peppered cories
6 long fin zebra danios
1 peach male betta
5 neons
8 gups( 6 female 2 male)

yes the gups are in there to produce food.

Nothing fancy but my first REAL planted tank.

Also the CO2 is up and running on this tank, diffuser and counter are also in transit.


The fake plants are only there till real ones can replace them.

Im trying real hard to make this one nice, I appreciate the hard work recognition. I have added sponge filters to the intake tubes.



Its a good thing the wife snagged my money and cards or else this would be a marine tank you see instead of a freshwater food chain tank I got going on.
