60 Gal SW FOWLR help

I currently have a 30g FOWLR. On this tank I was using a filter. I'm moving this tank into a 60g and want to get rid of my filter. If I have the necessary amount of live rock, can I just use live rock and my skimmer which is up to 100g for filtration?
