I have a actinic light for my FOWLR. I was just wondering if actinics do anything special. Like do they promote coraline alge growth better or anything. Im kinde just curious as to what they do different.

Depends on the actual specs of the actinic lights you have but coralline will spread much faster in the 420-450nm spectrum of 03's. Coralline will do much better in lower wattages as well as properly maintained chem levels (alk, Ca, Mg).

Other than that, it help offset the "yellow" or bright white some lights give off making the tank a bit more eye appealing.

Cheers
Steve
