When setting up my FOWLR 125 SW tank I upgraded my sterilizer to 25w. My old tank had a 15 w sterilizer on it. Would there be any harm done by putting my 15w inline with my 25w or is that to much UV?

A 25 watt UV is more than enough for a 125 gal tank... I would offer is up for sale or use it on another tank... To answer your question, it would not hurt... IMO, there is no such thing as too much UV as long as you can keep the temp down in the tank....

no not at all I have a 40 Watt on in my tank thats 125 Just make sure that you have enough filtration
