algea problem

hey everyone there is this hair like algea growing at the bottom of my saltwater tank and if i cover it up with rocks it seems to kill it, but it always grow back does anyone know what it is and if its a problem

just Hair algae,check your phosphates and nitrate levels,cut lighting and feeding down a bit.
