hey all,

I have about 35# of LR and will be adding another 10-15# (37gal tank). I was wondering, do you all leave space between the rock and the backside of you tank? I am creating plenty of canves and hiding spaces, but it seems like my 2 fish (Damsel and Dottyback) really like to hang out behind the rock. Any reason why I can not puch some of the base rock as far upagainst the backside as possible?

Thanks

John

My bottom layer of rock is away from the glass, but as I stack more rock up, I will prop the top on the glass just to help prevent a landslide. It's just a few pieces that can be moved if needed during cleaning.

It is important to leave some open spots so as not to obstruct flow behind the rockwork.
