Best Place to get Live Rock

Where is the best place to purchase 100lbs of live rock. Should I go to my LFS and spend $6 per pound or order on-line from somewhere?

call around, I get LR at my lfs for 3.99, rubble for 2.99. If you're in a metro area and have several in the area you might find a deal. Try Craigslist or a local reef club. Shipping a drag because your paying for live rock and then you end up needing to re-cure anyway

Also check out LiveAquaria.com, Blue Zoo Aquatics for their Bima LR, and some other online retailers. You will need to cure it if it's shipped as there is enough die off in the shipping process to start a cycle.

Shop for dry, base rock too. Do a 50/50 mix and save losts of money.

I got mine from Craigslist and local forums, there seems to be someone either having to get out of the hobby or downsizing.

Shipping rock does seem to be a self-defeating action.
