What fish is best to keep green algea to a minimum?

What size is the tank. Larger tanks can utilize algae eating tangs but if that's not an option lawnmower blennys are good too.

Its only a 20 gallon i gt a clown fish at the minute and 2 red legged hermits.

Any blenny will do. U could add 2-5 turbo snails

How big are the hermits? I'm pretty sure a turbo could defend itself from the hermits. They're big and very strong. Also having some extra shells helps keep the hermits less aggressive. And if all else fails it's the circle of life just buy some more. Garenteed They won't be able to eat all your turbo snails and if they donut would take a very very very long time.

If ur crabs are huge they may eat them but that's a big hermit... Just by some shells and that would lower the risk if they were around the same size
