What are your thoughts on buying fish from the online stores as opposed to the lfs?

Which do you recommend?

What are your thoughts on buying fish from the online stores as opposed to the lfs?

I think your better off buying fish from the LFS with a few exceptions.
1) You get to see the animal before you purchase
2) If multiple of the species you want, you get to choose which specific fish you get
3) You can put a deposit on the fish and let the LFS hang on to it for a week to make sure it is eating and stays relatively healthy.

I think they are kinda creepy They are not reef safe and can be a danger to some of the clean up crew you might employ in a FOWLR, although that is debatable.
