Chemipure Elite

Last weekend I Started to use Chemipure Elite in my tank and just wondered if it was normal for some of my corals (Zoa Mushroom Toadstool) to not open as much as before.

If you dropped your phosphates down by a large amount all at once it can be a shock.
Not rinsing it completely could also stress corals out with those particles entering the water column.

I rinsed it out until I no longer saw any particles. The sudden drop makes sense this is the first chemical filtration I have used in my system since I started it 2 years ago

Also remember since it has some water cleansing property it might make the tank brighter. The tank being brighter is also a possibility.
