chewing tang

okay I have a powder blue tang that is picking at to rubber sealant in the corners of my tank. Why is he doing this? I am afraid of ciurse that he is gonna break the seal!!!! I have stacked rock in the corners but i hate that because it blocks my view of the tank from the sides

Maybe he's hungry? Try keeping some food for him on a clip to keep him busy, it might help.

Its likly the tang is picking at algae growth on the silicon. Add alge sheets daily for the tang to eat.

I dought the tang would pull hard enough to break the seal on the tank. If it was a puffer with large teeth then that would be different..
