We were gone for a cpl days and with our return my son noticed his skunk cleaner shrimp like shed. Is this good or should I be worried (he thinks it means he's gunna die) levels are all on spot.

That's normal. It's called molting. Do a search on it to get more info. No worries though! You can remove the dead skin or leave it in. It doesn't matter.

+1 on the molting. He's just growing and outgrown his current exoskeleton. They usually. Hide for a day or two before/after this cuz they are soft and vulnerable. But then they come back out again. They'll do this pretty often when they're small and growing fast, mine used to every few weeks, but now he's just about full size, so it's not as often.

Yep my boxer shrimp sheds every 2 to 3 weeks
