Ok so I just changed 30 gallons our of a 60 gal due to spiked levels... I'm going to let it cycle for a while then check levels again but was wondering what a suggested cleaning crew would be for a 60 gallon... I have 3" fine sand bed which I got out as much crap as I could but vacuum is not the greatest... What will help keep my levels normal thanks

I would start off small and build up. Maybe a dozen Nassiarius snails and maybe a half dozen Cerith snails. That would be a good start. Then as your tank matures you can add to the CUC because there will be more food in there for them to eat.

and dont stir up the sand too much, let the nassarius do that. stirring it up will only cause some bad things to happen

Just checked my levels ammonia is 0 nitrite is around 1 nitrates in-between 20-40 ... How soon should I do another water change and how much??... I put in a filter media denitrates also does anyone think that will help lower levels?
